Ok so you are, let us say a little older than the average internet user . I was just wondering how you got into it? Do you have a technological past, or did you just dive in? Do you know any other people around your age that are as active on the internet as you - by that I mean more than email

In the UK the government did a big promotion to try and educate/help older peeps get online - just coz it's a great way to stay in touch etc etc. Not sure how well that went though.

It's just so great to see the older guys getting in on the action. My grandparents are just too scared of it, and most reactions to "technology" is - "what if I press the wrong button..."

So yea just a general question about internet and you

I enjoy reading to a fault; I feel, at my age, it keeps dementia at a distance. I have used computers before the internet was.

So the web was just a progression and you were using computers when they started out anyway
