DSS transcriptions

Postby GldChow » Mon Nov 28, 2011 3:38 pm

Shalom, I have been transcriping the Dead Sea Scrolls into English.
It is proving to be very challenging. The Hebrew proper names seem to be almost unpronounceable(?) in any language!
OK, cheap shot, but if you check out a file or two you'll understand.
This project is going to take a very long time as I check each verb phrase with many sources.
I started with Isaiah as it is the most complete of the DSS, and Daniel because of its' content.
Next will be Genius . . . etc.
If you wish to check it out send e-mail to:

[email protected]

I will add your address to a 'shared' file on "dropBox". You may down load anytime.
I am still working on the format and welcome any suggestions.

Shalom,
jest me 'n Dog.

'tis all looking good so far, Don :)

When you're done, I can host them on TWTY if you'd like (although I know they'll be quite a ways away yet :P) :)

Please respect everyone, and try to not get too heated when discussing one's point of view :)
