Re: The discussion continues

Craig does not have that attitude... which is one of the reasons I respect the man. He strongly encourages every and anyone to study out the Scriptures themselves. He is at times pretty adamant about his personal conclusions and commentary but I've never heard him say, "my renderings of Script...

Re: The discussion continues

I presumed that people would read to the end of the comments section, and onto my initial edit of that first post, where I continued the discussion on Psalm 119:127. But you're right, it's my fault that I didn't make that clear. My mistake. That won't be happening again. Regarding Paul/Sha'uwl: Robs...

Re: Paul and Apollonius - Another ridiculous myth being prom

Hilariously, another person has entered the fray on Douglas' video claiming that not only was Paul not real, Paul and Apollonius were both based on Flavius Josephus, the Jewish-Roman Historian who wrote Antiquities of the Jews and The Wars of the Jews (a book about what happened at the fall of Jerus...

Re: Paul and Apollonius - Another ridiculous myth being prom

He's still posting his lies about Paul and Apollonius on the YouTube video - yet he hasn't returned here to provide evidence of what he's said?

"Busy" indeed - busy avoiding being shown to be an idiot

Re: The discussion continues

I wouldn't really care at all if it was just CW's opinion being flouted on his own websites - there's more than enough sites that do that about themselves. But when his "translations" are quoted as if they were 100% accurate, and his commentary on them posted as if he was writing Scripture...

Re: The trinity

Hello Stephen Hi Noel! :D I think I would be right in saying that in no pre-Constantine renewed covenant accounts are placeholders not used. *re-reads to grasp the double negative* ..yes. All pre-Constantine manuscripts use placeholders. As do, actually, all Greek manuscripts up until the 9th Centu...

Re: The discussion continues

Gonna do this in stages, as I don't have time to do everything in one post. Just to pick on a few things: Τ: And if you seriously think Yah would ever 'command' His children versus intruct them, then you don't even know Him. Then Yah made a poor choice in using the Hebrew word mitswah, which is a de...

The discussion continues

Engaging in a discussion on a image posted on Facebook, I ended up getting 'defriended' by two people by the end of it. Unfortunately, Facebook really isn't the best place for discussions to take place (mainly due to the annoyance of comments and having to click on "see more", and the fact...

Awesome site Doug, and what fantastic progress you've made with it all.

Soon people won't have to buy the Dead Sea Scrolls Bible - your site will surpass it in every conceivable way :)

New Translation - The Voice - has Christians in a huff

http://tinyurl.com/7f9tx3r" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Why are they in a huff? Because "The Voice" removes the following terms from "the Bible": Christ; Angel; Apostle... I assume none of these people have read the translations here on TWTY - you won'...

He's not been back since March 22nd. I doubt he will return.

Be assured though people - I'm right on this one. Douglas is dead, dead wrong

Re: Paul and Apollonius - Another ridiculous myth being prom

I've been re-reading the Life of Apollonius, and have yet to find anything wrong with what I have stated regarding Paul and Apollonius in the first post in this topic. It therefore boils down to those who say that Apollonius is Paul/Paul is Apollonius to actually prove it. It's not up to us to dispr...

Re: Paul and Apollonius - Another ridiculous myth being prom

I wouldn't count on it. Douglas is hardly the one to admit that he was incorrect in what he said regarding Apollonius. I could be wrong on that front, but the excuse that he's "busy" with his "ministry" is what he's probably going to appeal to. Edit: Ironically, I couldn't get on...

The Great Galatians Debate - Did Paul Write Galatians

Forgot I actually hadn't got a thread on this (oops!), so I shall answer people's queries on it in here, starting with the helpful ones already given by William :) first off I will say that Swalchy has put a lot of time and effort into his study of the Book of Galatians and has done a great job at p...

Re: Paul and Apollonius - Another ridiculous myth being prom

Shalom, my name is Pastor Douglas Nicholson. I am the author of the YT video called “PAUL THE FALSE APOSTLE "THE BIG TEST" from God” I am an expert on the false apostle Paul. Calling yourself an "expert" is quite funny here. You're no expert on anything, which everyone who reads...

Re: Paul and Apollonius - Another ridiculous myth being prom

My latest reply to Douglas is the following: @douglasnvideo As svgrobski asked, how can Paul be both "Apollonius" AND a "Pharisee"? He's either one or the other - he can't be both (especially as Apollonius is never said to have come into contact with a Jew of any kind). You're al...
