Re: Paul and Apollonius - Another ridiculous myth being prom

He's not been back since March 22nd. I doubt he will return.

Be assured though people - I'm right on this one. Douglas is dead, dead wrong

Re: Paul and Apollonius - Another ridiculous myth being prom

I've been re-reading the Life of Apollonius, and have yet to find anything wrong with what I have stated regarding Paul and Apollonius in the first post in this topic. It therefore boils down to those who say that Apollonius is Paul/Paul is Apollonius to actually prove it. It's not up to us to dispr...

Re: Paul and Apollonius - Another ridiculous myth being prom

I wouldn't count on it. Douglas is hardly the one to admit that he was incorrect in what he said regarding Apollonius. I could be wrong on that front, but the excuse that he's "busy" with his "ministry" is what he's probably going to appeal to. Edit: Ironically, I couldn't get on...

The Great Galatians Debate - Did Paul Write Galatians

Forgot I actually hadn't got a thread on this (oops!), so I shall answer people's queries on it in here, starting with the helpful ones already given by William :) first off I will say that TWTY-Admin has put a lot of time and effort into his study of the Book of Galatians and has done a great job a...

Re: Paul and Apollonius - Another ridiculous myth being prom

Shalom, my name is Pastor Douglas Nicholson. I am the author of the YT video called “PAUL THE FALSE APOSTLE "THE BIG TEST" from God” I am an expert on the false apostle Paul. Calling yourself an "expert" is quite funny here. You're no expert on anything, which everyone who reads...

Re: Paul and Apollonius - Another ridiculous myth being prom

My latest reply to Douglas is the following: @douglasnvideo As svgrobski asked, how can Paul be both "Apollonius" AND a "Pharisee"? He's either one or the other - he can't be both (especially as Apollonius is never said to have come into contact with a Jew of any kind). You're al...

Re: Spam in messages

Thanks for that Royce. I did let this "ongrace" lady in because there was no record at all of her ip address or her username as that of a spammer.

She'll be gone in 5 seconds, as well as her messages :)

Re: Paul and Apollonius - Another ridiculous myth being prom

I responded again on Douglas' video. See who bothers to come here and read. Edit#1: I and Douglas are currently exchanging comments on YT. He isn't answering a single thing I brought up, but just seems to repeat himself constantly, giving no source or basis for his claims. When you read this Douglas...

Re: Paul and Apollonius - Another ridiculous myth being prom

What isn't amazing is that no one who promotes the "Apollonius is Paul" myth has yet to respond to this thread.

Plus, essentially it's easier to threaten someone than it is to actual answer their points or questions

Paul and Apollonius - Another ridiculous myth being promoted

I couldn't help noticing an awful lot of comments on certain Facebook groups regarding a fellow named Apollonius and his supposed relationship to Paul, that I just had to investigate it. As can be gleaned from the title, the investigation proved to be essentially worthless - just another pack of lie...

Re: The trinity

Unfortunately not yet, Noel. Had a lot more stuff IRL to sort out than I had originally anticipated, and I haven't been able to read as much as I've liked over the past few weeks. For those who are interested, Noel is referring to the following document: http://tinyurl.com/27loakz" onclick=&quo...

7 new manuscripts of the the Renewed Covenant discovered

Dan Wallace, the Executive Director of the Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts at Dallas Theological Seminary, in a recent debate regarding NT manuscripts with Bart Ehrman made mention that 7 new manuscripts of the text of the RC/NT had been discovered, one of which is a FIRST Century ...

Re: Acts 20:7: The First Day of the Week, or a Sabbath?

We really just appear to be going in circles now, but I'll state this again so that you don't have an excuse for attempting to say that the resurrection happened on the seventh-day Sabbath: "Regardless of all this, whatever interpretation you want to try and give to when the Passover is to be e...

Re: Acts 20:7: The First Day of the Week, or a Sabbath?

Leviticus 23:14 And ye shall eat neither (the new grains) bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an (first fruits) offering unto your God: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. Deuteronomy 16:3 Thou shalt eat ...

Re: Acts 20:7: The First Day of the Week, or a Sabbath?

That really wasn't the section of the Karaite article I was pointing to, but to the fact that they too agree that "the morrow after the Sabbath" is a reference to Sunday, no matter the date of Abib/Nisan it falls on. I'm sure if you want you can email the guys at Karaite-Korner for a expla...

Re: Acts 20:7: The First Day of the Week, or a Sabbath?

The article seemed to be more or less just completely one sided, especially as it quotes from the Mishnah and Talmud. In fact, checking the rest of the website, the fact that it has an article stating that the ORAL LAW is necessary , I just cannot accept whatever it says as an authority on this subj...

Re: Acts 20:7: The First Day of the Week, or a Sabbath?

Hello Stephen, Regarding the observation of Firstfruits in relation to the seven sabbaths following; Leviticus 23:11 “And he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted for you: on the next day (Nisan 16th) after the sabbath (Nisan 15th) the priest shall wave it.” KJV Leviticus 23:15 “And ...
