Re: The rendering of The Sacred Name

There are various theories about the ten Virgins. I have heard all of them including 'ones with Holy Spirit and ones without, and 'that refers to the Jews and the others are the chruch etc etc. However the answer (as is usually the case) is in scripture. Perhaps the wise ones are the ones where they...

Re: Do angels sing. Music generally.

Also, many of the words of Christian songs are doctrinal rubbish.

How are things in Scotland, Rob?. We heard you were moving there.

Re: Do angels sing. Music generally.e

As a father, I would not particularly like it if my children mainly communicated with me in song, and using words which had been thought up by someone else. I think the relationship would suffer a bit. Also, and I can almost hear the streams, most rock music is skating pretty close to the satanic li...

Re: Taruwah

Hi Rob I think you are very sensible in your 'not force feeding' approach which I notice you wrote elsewhere ? I think that is where I have been going wrong........trying to be right.....which I think I am, but it does get people's backs up. Actually I don't think I am always right. Just most of the...

Re: my experience last passover my first one 2012

Hello Rob Thank you for your insights into Matsah. I entirely agree with your approach that the obsession with food labels etc is not the point but rather symbolic of something more important. Such can also be said of all the other rituals in the seven feasts, although I think that observation of th...

Re: Do angels sing. Music generally.

That's my point. I don't think they sang in front of the shepherds. it says 'saying'. not singing. in the Luke passage.

Do angels sing. Music generally.

Do angels sing? It is widely assumed that they do, but when you check, I think you find that they speak or say but do not sing (arguably until the millennium). Angels are different to men as they (angels) are not redeemed. Also, is there not an argument to say that in between the attempted murder of...

Re: The rendering of The Sacred Name

thanks for your replies. The only reason I am bothering with this site is because a friend of mine who I am trying to tell the truth to is using this site as a way out.

Re: The rendering of The Sacred Name

Hello Stephen. I know you are a busy chap, but I wondered if you would just have a look at this site http://jesus-messiah.com/studies/sacred-name.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; as it makes the most outlandish claims about people who are calling him Yahwah and also abou...

I have to say that the work you have done on this is amazing, and I am astonished that there have been no comments on it. We admire what you are trying to do and the dedication which you have clearly given to it.

Re: The trinity

Hello Stephen I think I would be right in saying that in no pre-Constantine renewed covenant accounts are placeholders not used. Would it also be true that all pre-Constantine accounts share the fact that the Set Apart Spirit is clearly referred to in John 3 Verse 8 ' the wind bloweth where it liste...

The trinity

Hello Stephen.
Did you have a chance to read that paper on the origins of the Trinity?
Did you manage to download it?

I would be interested to know what you think.

Re: Circumcision Questions

Never mind. Something else also occurred to me. In that we will either die or be gathered up before we meet Him, then actually our bodies are irrelevant in that they will not be the same ones as are able to move at the speed of thought, and are only shell to carry us through this temporary life. The...

Re: Circumcision Questions

Hello Stephen After listening to CW last night who is even more outspoken on circumcision and Paul than he used to be, I decided to re read the whole of this thread, and including the end bits which I had missed before. There was really a good discussion here, and I think we came out with the right ...

Re: Is this version for real?

Hi Stephen

Is the word Kainos (new) in fact not in the original greek in Matt. 26.28 ?
The KJV has it, but I notice your translation does not. Was it inserted by someone?

Re: Circumcision Questions

Just had another thought about those who say you can't have a relationship with Yah unless you are circumcised.

Abraham did. He clearly had a close relationship with Yah for 24 years until he was circumcised at the age of 99.
