Re: Do You Believe ...

I believe that Yahushua was clear when he asked in Matthew 27:46,"...my God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Yahuweh cannot forsake himself. Can't He? I'm afraid I couldn't find the Scripture to back up this statement. I'm afraid that I've never seen nor have I been shown any scripture...

Re: Do You Believe ...

"I and the Father are one" is interesting. One in thought, one in purpose...but only after Luke 2:40, 52, "40 And the Child (Yahshua) grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him. ... 52 And Yahushua increased in wisdom and stature, and in fa...

Re: Do You Believe ...

Granted that Yahushua does receive worship, it is not because he is Yahuweh but his proxy. Just as when the captain of a ship is not onboard, the next highest officer receives all the same respect and honors of the captain. He has full command of the vessel and he can do as he pleases with one cavea...

Yahushua the Man

I believe that Yahushua was clear when he asked in Matthew 27:46,"...my God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Yahuweh cannot forsake himself. Also, in Matthew 16:16, when he asked his disciples who he was, Peter answered, "You are the christ/messiah/the annointed one, the son of the...

Re: The rendering of The Sacred Name

I found and interesting site showing how His name has been hidden but still transmitted down through time.

http://yahushua.net/YAHUWAH/index.htm

I found it troubling in how the enemy works so hard but quite uplifting in how Yahuwah finds a way for people to get to him.

Re: The rendering of The Sacred Name

Stephen, Here is a web site that says that the oo sound in Yahuweh is unsupported: http://www.yahuahreigns.com/SonsName.html Sorry about the horrendous layout of the site. Where would I find a good reference for vocalizations of Hebrew? I do not mean to be a bother but the time that I can spend rese...

Re: The rendering of The Sacred Name

Here is a site that delves into ancient and paleo hebrew to show how many European languages are closer to old Hebrew than modern Hebrew:

http://ieue.org

There are a bunch of articles and the author appears to be thorough.

Would like any feedback. Thanks.

I figured as much, seeing how excited you seemed about posting that LOGOS had a new module. ;)

Re: Questioning Paul Review Part 2 - The Messiah's words

I've read both and I find them excellent resources. I appreciate the time that you've put into the RC/NT translations. I have to admit that I had run off half-cocked over a year ago after reading a lot of the YY/QP/CW renderings and had to eat some crow because of it. From what I gather I wouldn't h...

Re: Paul and Apollonius - Another ridiculous myth being prom

Stephen, I believe that, being people, we have the right to be called out when we make false accusations. I hope that you get my meaning here... just like we have the right to be wrong, we have the right to be held accountable. Douglas was and you did. Will, And its not that I don't agree with the w...

Re: Paul and Apollonius - Another ridiculous myth being prom

I don't know if using Galatians as proof material would be your best course of rebuttal. While I am definitely not a biblical scholar, I do take the 'new' testament with a grain of sand. As the owner of this site has pointed out, Galatians doesn't even measure up to Ephesians scholarly test and it i...
