Hi sestir, I more understand it based on the usage of ΚΣ as it is used in the NT itself, and how it pertains to referring to Yahweh as a placement for His name. It's also based on the Septuagint, which in later manuscripts (earlier ones just substituted יהוה in Paleo-Hebrew) the nomen sacrum ΚΣ stoo...

One of the most controversial passages in the whole of the New Testament is what Paul has to say in Philippians 2:5-11, in which he talks of the Messiah, Yahushua, as existing of the "form" of God, but taking on the "form" of a slave, in the "likeness" of a human being....

Don't know whether it predates it (likely not), but probably contemporary.

Like Latin for the Roman Catholics, Ge'ez is only spoken as part of the Liturgical language of the Ethiopian Churches.

Interesting speculation, but there are over 30 instances of אדניו in scripture that refer to "his master" and not "his master s " - Gen 24:9, 10 (x2), 39:2, 3, 7, 8, 16, 19, 40:7; Exod 21:4, 6 (x2); Deut 23:16 (x2)... etc., etc. I could only find one instance that actually follow...
